DESCRIPTION:\nThis month, our meeting on Tuesday, May 25th, is moving outside the box!   \n  \n2010 is the one year during which we have no federal estate tax.  Instead, there is a complicated--some would say arcane--capital gains-style tax on the estates of decedents. \n  \nWe're going to use the table-talk format, where each separate table will discuss this topic from the standpoints of the various practice disciplines at that table.  At the end of what would normally be the speaker's time, we'll wrap up with a summary from the spokesperson (to be chosen at seating time) from each table. \n  \nThis should be fun and will certainly update us on what's been happening from the standpoint of each discipline.  Be sure to bring your own thoughts, actual experiences,  and of course anything from your respective companies and/or industries would be welcome. \n  \nOne further reminder.  Our annual social event at the Candlelight Pavilion is scheduled for Friday, June 25th, to see the musical Godspell.  The signup sheet will again be passed around at this upcoming meeting.
